Vertical Residential Extension to an Existing Office Building – Wellington St.

DESCRIPTION

This development on top of a 1980’s brick office building, involved the creation of 3 additional levels and roof deck in light- weight hybrid steel and framed timber structure.

The structural design enabled the most efficient steel frame to match the load bearing existing structure. Floor design for spans of between 5.0 and 6.5m enabled the most flexible floor plate design for the high-end residential units
